Shane at High Mountain Tonewoods.

Shane created these files and sent them to me a while ago and asked if I could host them. I have uploaded them to my guitar site.
You should be able to right click and "save as"
After you down load, rename your files and add .xlsx as the extension.

Big thanks to Shane!

Lance, are these spreadsheets (per the topic)? I tried to open/save them as excel files, but they don't want to open.

Just add an .xls extension to the downloaded file and open in Excel.

To open just right click the files and select "open with excel" They will work fine then (They did for me anyways).

I built these files for my cnc work but they are great for those of you that want to hand saw fret boards and to check to see if your radius dish is right. If you have any questions about the files just let me know.

Thanks
Shane

Hi shane, don't suppose you would have a cnc code written up for radius dishes you would like to share? I have a guy who will machine some dishes for me but unfortunately when it comes to writing the necessary program i just dont have the skills to pay the bills. Radius dishes are ridiculously overpriced to purchase here in australia and too big and costly to import.

If you have an offset and a baseline length, here is an easy method to draw the arc. You can use the arc to make a jig for routing out a radius dish, you can use it to make the little piles of index card at different locations to simulate it, or you n=can make a radius batten with it.
